Blueberry Patch

 

This morning we went blueberry picking with Cooper, Laney, their mommy and their grandma. We went out to 223rd and State line Road to the Berry Patch. There were tons of blueberries and we got to pick until we didn't want to pick anymore. We were very careful not to pick the green ones but Ashley did anyways. She also ate about 1/2 a pound as we were picking. Oops!! We each had out own bucket (Thank Miss Ashley for giving us yours!) and we picked for almost an hour, tried blueberry lemonade and a blueberry corn muffin and paid to ride the train. Notice we said paid to ride and not actually ride?!?! Well Anna told mommy she wanted to and then changed her mind right before it started moving. That's okay, next time!

 The whole time we were looking for Strawberry Shortcakes friend, Blueberry Muffin, but didn't see her anywhere. Anna was a bit bummed but got happy when we drank the lemonade. We really enjoyed it and mommy was shocked at how well we behaved and how long we wanted to pick! Super fun morning at the patch!
