We went to the All Star Fan Fest tonight at Bartle Hall. It was done up REALLY well and it was nice to be part of the hoopla of the All Star Game being in Kansas City.
Sporting our Royals blue and the gear we have (a hat for Anna) we picked Daddy up at work and headed to Bartle Hall!
They had some games for kids....
Ashley was in LOVE with this game. She cried when we left, so I took her back for another 10 minutes of playing. I think she's going to love the fact that we have it at home :)

Even showed off our bubber to the fans...
Danced around the place...
And waited in line for literally over an hour for the balloon man to make the girls a balloon. The things we do for our children. Daddy walked around most of the time with Ashley and mommy and Anna had fun with the camera. Good thing I brought it with us or we would have had NOTHING to do!!!

Still waiting in line.....
Finally! Our turn.
Anna and her purple like Barney dinosaur and Ashley with her ducky. We bee lined out of there right after getting these and poor Ashley popped the head of her duck within minutes.
But Ashley still loved her headless duck and LOVEd attacking her sister in the backseat during the 30 minute car ride home. Luckily the balloons made the girls happy because we pulled in almost an hour past their bedtime. And on the ride home Anna undid Barney's back legs and luckily mommy fixed them. I am just an amazing balloon girl now, huh? I'll keep my day job!
It was fun participating in the hype of the All-Star game being in KC. Rob attended the Future's Game and the Celebrity Softball game on Sunday and is going to the All Star Game tomorrow night. Thanks to his company Rob gets to attend an All Star game; something he's always wanted to do. What fun!
