RMNP- Picnic and Afternoon by the river in the valley

After the visitor center were drove further into Moraine Valley to picnic by one of the lake trailheads. Unfortunately all the parking lots were full so we ended up parking by the stream and finding a great spot to eat, play and explore!

We ate, threw rocks in the stream, played in the stream, crossed the stream (with help from Daddy), walked in the valley, peed in the valley, built shapes with rocks and just enjoyed doing not much of anything after 2 days of packed hiking fun.

Insisted on her pictures being by herself!

After here we headed home for an afternoon of much need rest and relaxation for the adults and playtime around the "new home" for the kids.
