making money

Between rocking at their chore chart (a post to come about that soon) and selling their barely played with toys, these girls are bringing in the moo-la for our girls trip to Chicago in July! Anna's mission is to buy an American Girl Doll and Ashley just wants to buy "everything." They are certainly having fun with making money and deciding when to spend it. Sometimes they decide to spend a quarter or two of their own on a gumball or toy machine but the paper money- no way!!!! "That is the big stuff money!"

Each time they complete a choir they get 5 cents. These giurls are making $2.50-$3.50 a week! Amazing how much they want to do this; and how less I am cleaning up after them :) A win/win in my mind!!!

Tuesday Swim Days

For the month of April we were at the swimming pool for 2 1/4 hours every Tuesday. It was nice getting them all in on one day but I am glad May is here!

Ashley is taking lessons off until November. Abby is continuing with her lesson on Monday mornings at 9:30 until she is "bubble safe." Anna is continuing through May at Tuesdays at 12:30 (the only day lesson at her level) and transitioning to swim team in June.

What little water bugs; this should be a fun summer at the pool :)

Just a girl and her pup

Anna's always been in love with big dogs but recently she's become borderline obsessed with Peanut. He digs the attention and loves it but sometimes sissy pushes him a little too far with pulling his hair or lifting him up. I do love that she loves him; we just need to love a little softer sometimes :)

Last week we went and watched Kate play soccer. We just love spending time with our big cousin!!!!!
