We had had plans to celebrate the new year at noon with the Stilley cousins but once pink eye was confirmed at my birthday bash and with my throat starting to feel like swallowing knives, we decided a new years at home was called for.
We had a family balloon drop around 6 pm and rang in the new year with balloon play, new years kisses, singing and dancing (Ashley was the only naked dancer :)). And then we were all in bed by 8:30.
