Easter Eggs

We might have done these the Wednesday AFTER Easter, but to the girls it didn't matter one bit. I had them boiled and ready to color but Anna kept telling me to wait until she was feeling "much better." Side note: The week prior Grammy had asked Anna if she was going to dye Easter eggs with Daddy and Anna's face got SO serious..... "No we aren't going to DIE the eggs, we are going to paint the eggs!"

 

 We had a blast and I am proud to say that I say back 95% of the time and just let them do their own thing with coloring the eggs and the stickers. The girls were both really patient throughout the dying process and followed directions very well. They wanted the eggs to dry faster so they both decided to start blowing on them... that did the trick and minute later they were ready to get stickers!!! Anna's favorite egg was of course the yellow Belle sticker egg and Ashleys was the red apple Snow White sticker egg.

After we colored them, they then wanted to eat them so they both cracked their eggs by throwing them on the table and peeling all by themselves. Yum! Yum! These girls love hard boiled eggs; except for the yellow part!!
