Snowmagedon Part One started on a Thursday morning and lasted all day into the night. It was wild. I swear we were at one point getting 3-4 inches an hour. It was so pretty to watch and the girls couldn't wait for Daddy to get home to play with them since Mommy wasn't feeling well. When Daddy got home, we bundled them up and they went out into the foot or so of snow that had fallen that day. Anna loved every minute of it; Ashley lasted maybe 5 minutes before it was all, "Mommy hold me. Snow cold!" Anna had a blast climbing the "mountains" on the side of the driveway, helping Daddy shovel the sidewalk, make snow angels, eating the snow, having a snow ball fight with Daddy and literally rolling around in the snow. She was completely bummer when I called them in for dinner an hour later.
Everytime I asked Ashley how she was, she would tell me, "Mommy, I cold. I stay side (inside). Ashley cold!"
Day 2 Ashley joined in the fun for about 30 minutes... Anna lasted an hour and a half. Anna would have probably stayed out longer if we let her! They made snow angels, dug a fort, dug a tunnel, attempted an igloo, did some snow swinging, had a snowball fight with Daddy and attempted a snowman.
After each time outside, we HAD to warm up our bodies under the down comforter while being surrounded by books of course!!
Love,
Anna and Ashley
