Beauty and the Beast Junior

Last weekend we surprised the girls by taking them to a Disney Junior performance of the Beauty of the Beast at Mid America Nazarene College. It was put on by the Christian Youth Theatre and they did a really good job. The leads were all in middle/high school and Anna and Ashley really got into it. I caught Anna several times singing to the music and doing movements with her arms as she sang. It was pretty priceless; this child just loves this story.

At the end Ashley did not want to leave our row. She looked at us and said, "Snow White next?!?!" She was not a happy camper when she found out that it was just Belle. And then she noticed that he sister had sneaked off to dance on the stage with some other girls and she jumped up in a jiffy. Both girls were rather outgoing by running up on the stage and were having a blast "acting" and dancing but let me tell you something; stage fright and Ashley don't go together.... she was ALL jazz hands! She literally did this pose long enough for me to reach into my purse and grab my camera and take this awesome pic. It was hilarious! I think we have our drama girl :)
