The cost of a shower

Last week I chose to take a shower. During that time the girls were reading in my bed. After I got out of the shower they told me they were going to play downstairs while I got ready (in the 5 minutes it takes me to get ready). Minutes later I head, "MOMMY! Ashley is making a mess!!!"

Sure enough I walk down to see this.....

Yup, the girls had gotten hungry and taken charge of getting breakfast on the table. And apparently spilled the rice krispies!

So in the end, as I clean up the mess I think, "was it really worth the shower????" Hummmmm..... and that is why I look the way I look these days :)
