If I could sum up our 2 year well visit it would be the following:
CRY FEST!
Complete cry fest. From the moment the nurse opened the door to the waiting room and called her name to the moment we were done picking out our toys from the toy basket (she even cried there since she wanted 3 and the nurse told her to pick 2) it was pure hysteria. Yes, she did calm down a bit when she was on my lap with no sight of a doctor or nurse, but a good 40 of our 50 minutes was cry, cry, cry.
So, I guess Ashley doesn't like going to the doctor :)
But the important stuff coming from the check up is that we have a very healthy and developing 2 year old. Dr Glotzbaugh has no concerns about Ashley; everything checked out "normal" and healthy.... even her 2 year old temperment :) Apparently Ashley is growing great. We even got the okay to bring her to 2% milk.
Here are her numbers! (These are all ballpark since we had a completely biligerant child!)
Height: 34 1/4 inches- 65th %tile
Weight: 25 pounds- 25th %tile
Head Circumference: 18 inches- 15th %tile
We also got paperwork to go get blood drawn and tested for routine lab work and lead. I remember doing this and absolutely hated every minute of it. I am sure Ashley will be quite the little pill too :) Wish us luck!
