Halloween #1

This morning we had our first Halloween event and had a blast! We dressed up as Snow White (Ashley) and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz (Anna) and headed to a nearby store called the Mommyshop. They were having a Halloween event from 10-12 this morning. Anna has only seen Dorothy in a book that we have, so mommy was shocked when she decided to dress as her this morning. But she loved being Dorothy!!!! Ashley on the other hand would push, scream and kick if we tried to get her in anything BUT Snow White. She loves her "white."

 

 We had a blast. One of the 3 books they read was The Five Little Pumpkins and it's our all time favorite. Anna knows all the words and was reading really loudly with the "Fairy Nice Witch" who read the story. We had a super yummy Halloween cupcake and juice and then got to trick or treat around the store. We got all sorts of treats and we got to finishes the morning with a second story time and coloring.And the treat we decided to eat on the way home..... lollipops! We love them!

On the way home we stopped at Gigi's to show off our costumes and all our goodies. She thought we were adorable!

 We kept our costumes on up until lunch and had a dance party! Anna had the BEST twirl skirt!

We also did some puzzles together. Anna does such a great job helping Ashley. I really think preschool is helping her to become an even better big sister (if possible!)

We love Halloween and can't wait for after nap to go to Daddy's work for trick or treating where Anna is going to be something else!
