Cider Fest

This past Saturday morning, we all got bundled up and headed to the Louisburg Cider Mill for CiderFest.

We ate yummy apple doughnuts.....

Mommy and Daddy ate an all you can eat Chris Cake's breakfast (Here is Daddy catching the pancakes!)

We walked around to stay warm and saw all the neat things they had at the fest

(Mommy and Daddy promised they'd take us horseback riding at Deanna Rose for free!!!)

We watched how Apple Cider was made and how the doughnuts and caramel apples were made. We ate a caramel apple and Mommy and Daddy had lots of warm apple cider.

 

Anna tried to find the smallest pumpkin to pick up. most were too heavy but she did have some luck!

 Ashley on the other hand never found one small enough....

 So she sat on them instead....

 An attempt at a sibling picture......

 We had no intention on cooperating!

 

So Mommy hoped for good individual ones....

 And we think she got some pretty good ones!

PS We can't wait to go to a real pick your own pumpkin patch the next two weekends with the Fimmen side and then the Stilley side! We will get to buy a pumpkin then. OH boy!
