We officially started unpacking our pods a week ago today and we have made a ton of progress on the house. Besides picture frames being everywhere (and needing to find their permanent spot), it is safe to say that every room that we live in is in order on the first and second floor. Sure curtains need to be hung, the laundry room needs to be tidied, the office is covered in boxes, Ashley's sink room and closet needs to be finished painting, the garage needs some serious help and the basement hasn't even been touched.
But the kitchen is ready, the pantry is stocked, the hearth room is comfy, the playroom is well played in (and so are the second and third playrooms; aka living and dining rooms), Master bed, bath and closet is good to go and the girls rooms look great! Still have major decorating to do, but it is livable and free of boxes.
We have come a long way from our first night sleeping here in the Dining Room on a mattress that yes is still there but used as a trampoline during dance parties since we don't have a dining room table yet:

(Yes mom, that is your old gold chair that is falling apart at the seams. Rob can't believe that I still have kept that thing around and that I asked for it to be placed in my bedroom. I just love it for some reason!!!!)
