Don't know how I missed posting this but we received this nice email from Ashley's teacher back in September. Way to go Ash Ash!!
Ashley is such a joy to have in class! She really is a great role model for the other students. She follows directions ALWAYS. She continues to be shy around me and kids she does not know as well, but is very social with the girls she knew coming in to kindergarten. Academically she is doing wonderful as well. She is very smart so I will be sure to challenge her as the year goes on! I know Ashley will soar as a learner if we continue to work together. So, please continue to work on sight words and reading each night throughout the year – it is so important for kindergarteners (especially half-day) to work on their learning at home as well as at school (as im sure you know ;) ).
