So instead we pitched a tent in the backyard and did backyard camping!!!
We invited the Harpers over for a hot dog camp fire dinner complete with s'mores for dessert. Then we sat around the fire until it was time to go to bed. Believe it or not, all 3 girls feel asleep relatively quickly and slept the entire night. Even though Abby was snuggled up between Rob and I on a queen air mattress, we all managed to get a great night sleep.
So much fun and can not wait to go real camping. Anna says she is ready to go "deep, deep, deep into the woods and camp out." :) I don't think she realizes that deep in the woods doesn't come with Christmas lights and cushioned outdoor patio seats :)
