Kansas City Dance Festival

This past Saturday, Anna, Ashley and I went to the Kansas City Dance Festival downtown at the Folly Theatre. We started the night eating yummy Thai food at Lulu's thai (which was awesome). Then we headed downtown to Cosentino's to get some gelato. Once we picked out our flavors (and a disgusting macaron that the girls HAD to try), we finished our sweets on the rooftop park on top of Cosentino's. While it is nothing to write home about, the girls did think it was pretty cool that there was a park on top of a building in the middle of downtown :) Then we headed to the Folly Theatre to watch the dance festival. It was a good time. The dancing was beautiful and most, if not all, was ballet. I still can't wrap my head around how they didn't get bored. Dancing must be their thing, not mine :) What wonderful night with my girls!!!
