The kids were bummed not to go out the first day but given the fact that we were still nursing low grade fevers and a cough I really didn't care. I knew the snow would be there all week and we'd make it out eventually.
Luckily we went 24 hours without a low grade fever in anyone, so we bundled up in way to short snow bibs (who cares they work!!!) and had to wear mutliple layers of socks under rain boots (feet got cold but hey it worked). We lasted close to an hour outside; playing in the snow, pulling each other one sleds, sledding down the iced over cul-de-sac, trying to build a snowman, snow painting, making snow angels and just stmoping in the snow.
Snow much fun!!!!!!
Afterwards we warmed up our bodies with some yummy (or yucky according to Abby) hot cocoa!
This series made me laugh..... they finally did throw snow up at the same time :)
