My Little Abigail (No Abby!!!!!!!)
Here's what she's up to lately...
*Talking all the time. And is loud. Here sentences are choppy and sometimes you understand her and sometimes you don't. I am really perplexed on Abby's speech. Just when you think it's getting better.... she regresses. Just when it gets frustrating she has a language BOOM. She is beginning to really respond to me with working on saying sentences and trying new words so that's a good thing. She can talk in 3-4 broken worded sentences most of the time.
*I think she may be my goofiest one... hard contest but it just might be Abby
*Loves putting puzzle pieces in the wrong spot and saying, "Mommy? No?" and then laughing. All on purpose. She can complete 24 piece puzzles pretty easily.
*JUST got her first hair cut a couple days ago- more to come on that later.
*STOP is her favorite word
*Goo-Gah is second (that is what she calls my mom)
*When you call her Abigail she gets upset and says seriously, "No Abigail. ABBY!"
*LOVES art
*Talks about her teachers all the time and when you ask what they are doing she responds with, "shower."
*Resistant to giving sissies kisses but hugs and loves on them. It's her call and when she wants to she gives them. She has just recently started to really share her love and it's awesome.
*Doesn't like being told no, but then who does?
*Can throw really major fits but in the overall picture they are minimal
*Uses please and thank you correctly
*Still sleeps in a sleep sack in her crib. Hasn't tried to climb out but climbs into her bed. She wears a diaper just to bed time.
*She is a potty training success story. I still can't believe she was so successful at potty training. Amazing. She undresses, climbs up, whips, climbs down, flushes, puts clothes on and washes hands all by herself.
*Loves cheese and yogurt. A pretty typical 2 1/2 year old eater of hot dogs, turkey and mac and cheese.
*Recalls things really well
*Loves playing Happy Birthday
*Loves reading all her photo books I have made her especially the day she was born. She calls it her "born book" and happy birthday books.
*Is pretty good at responding to commands. She does say, "In a minute," and "I'm coming" A LOT.
*Wears 3T/4T clothing. 4T is a little long in the pants but leggings work.
*Loves books- Doc, Jake, Llama Llama, KnuffleBunny and all of "Ashleys" books.
*Has started humming- bla bla bla ing tunes...
*calls Ashley "mom" and me "mommy"
*Such a happy and carefree little girl
*Dances so cute. Loves dancing to whip a nae nae, Hot Dog and Lalaloopsy Girls.
*Whole personality is huge and animated. She doesn't hold anything back
*Loves helping me put away laundry
*Just likes being around sissies, mommy and daddy. You don't have to necessarily play with her, she just likes being with us.
*Last 2 preschool days have been awesome. Swimming is getting a little better. She told me today she wasn't going to cry tomorrow at swim... we will see :)
