We started trick or treating early this year; at 5:15! We wanted to be back to watch the Royals game at 7. And let me tell you, I think Halloween trick or treating should start at 5. It was great!!!! We started with the same house we start with every year, the Epplers!!!!! We visited Mary and Emily and then walked around until 7ish trick or treating.
Anna and Ashley were really into it. At first Ashley was slower then the others due to costume malfunctions (leg warmers kept falling down, getting dirty, wig falling off) but once we made adjustments she was up and running with the others! Abby finally started walking up to house (she made us carry her up to every door) when we had about 5 houses left. And she had a blast trick or treating on her own for the last 5 houses. Maybe, just maybe, we won't have to walk up to any doors next year.
Now what to do with the 6 galloon bags of candy we have sitting on our counter :)
