They were both extremely excited to be in their room with this teacher. Abby kept saying, "Me. Abby" whenever we would mention their school today. Before heading to school I asked her to go to the bathroom and she said, "No. Cool." She wanted to go at school :) We had been up to her classroom this past Monday to bring cookies up to the teachers and she saw her little potty for the first time. She was anxious to use it and to wash her hands. It was pretty adorable.
As we were walking in I told the girls I wanted to get their picture taken by the sign. Abby runs up to it, turns around and gives me the best smiles. You don't understand.... Abby never poses easily for a picture without being bribed. No bribing necessary, this child was excited to go to HER school!!!
We had a blast checking out the room and meeting the teachers and seeing the class lists. We can't wait until next Wednesday to start... FINALLY!!!!
So excited to use the bathroom- potty and sink!!!!!!
We played the longest in Abby's room to get her used to it.... she loved it; especially the kitchen and dolls/animals.
Ashley was excited for many reasons
1. First time in the blue room
2. Has Anna's old teachers
3. Her friend (and neighbor) Emma is in her class - along with 9 boys and 4 total girls. YIKES! But don't worry, Ashley will LOVE the boys.... they were her favorite last year :)
4. She's the oldest in the school
5. She FINALLY got homework, just like sissy.
So glad my girls love school :)
