This morning when Anna was talking about not wanting preschool to be over, Ashley says, "I can't wait for it to be over. I want to play with new things in new stations. And I just want to be with Abby and Mommy now." Yup, this one is more then ready for Pre-K next year; fingers crossed she gets the blue room since we just adore those teachers.
Today Ashley spent the first 2 hours with her class and then came up with the family to watch Anna "graduate" and went to the all school picnic for the "graduates." It made me chuckle when I saw Ashley in two pictures in the Pre-K slideshow; just shows you how much she loved being with Anna and her friends. After the picnic, we went down to say goodbye to Ashley's class and teacher. The girls begged that we stay the last hour with Ashley's class so we did. What an absolutely perfect last day for Ashley. Her teacher said she's never seen her so happy like she was with mommy and sissies there in her class with her. She also said she was shocked at how loud and outgoing she was acting. Yup, my Ash Ash is pretty good putting on the mellow/shy routine.... :) And then after an hour of fun with friends and family we walked out the doors and into summer.
So proud of you Ash Ash for having such a great preschool year. On to rule the school as a Pre-Kindergartener next year. And she can't wait to show Abby all there is to know about PCOS :)
Grandma and Grammy even got to see Ashley on her last day of preschool :)
