We are LEGOLAND

Legos have become a recent obsession of the girls since Anna's birthday. And I love it because it's the perfect quite time activity and also a good activity for when I am putting Abby down for a nap. They both LOVE creating Lego masterpieces using manuals (step by step instructions) and also love to not use a manual and build their own. We recently brought out Daddy's old legos from when he was a kid and spent a good amount of time sorting by color and organizing them into containers. Since we have done that they have LOVED building with Daddy's legos. They especially love when mommy and daddy build with them. Little Ashley too :)

And then after the builds they play. And they play for days in their creations.

This weekend I helped them build Daddy's old castle. The girls pretty much did the main floor and then I took over since it got rather complicated.

Our main foyer is now called Legoland because I am not kidding when I say there are two large card tables of lego's there. There is only so many places we can store these things with Abby around....

Yup- she is constantly trying to snag the little legos....

They are much more interesting then the duplo legos....
