On Thanksgiving Eve my good friend from high school, Jen Hall Scott, came over with her husband and son, Nathan, for a Thanksgiving get together. I had prepared a yummy tortellini cream soup, artichoke and green chile bread, a chopped salad and some pumpkin bars. They were all new recipes I found on pinterest and oh SO delish!
We had a great time catching up with them and the kids had fun playing with Nathan (who is almost 3). Nathan did develop quite the crush on the human sized Rapunzel we inherited from Kate and we just might need to ship her to Arkansas soon.
It is always good to see the Scott's! Wish they were my neighbor....
The girls helped with the meal ahead of time and had a blast making the pumpkin cake bars!
And then they got ALL dolled up and in their party dresses for the night :)
