Last week Anna's class was getting ready to go out to recess on the day of their performance. That morning Anna had wondered if they would still go outside since I said they were having their performance right after school. I also told her they would probably start getting ready for the performance towards the end of the day. Anna got very nervous because recess is at the end of the day. I reassured her that they probably would just has a short recess due to the performance.
Well.... sure enough the teachers took the class for a shortened recess. And as the class is lining up, Anna spoke up (which she barely does at school) and tells everyone not to worry but recess is going be short but it's ok because we then get to perform for our parents. The teachers smiled at her and said," very good Anna; you should be a teacher!!!"
She was super excited to tell me this right when we got in our van :)
