Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving. That morning we asked the girls what they were thankful for and they both said their family. This made us both happy :)
The morning started with us hosting Rob's Dad's extended side. Most everyone who lives in town (Rob's parents and Uncle Bill and his family were out of town) came over for a grand total of 16 people. Anna and Ashley loved running around and playing with their second cousins Emily and Allyson. We barely saw them the entire 3 hours they were together. It was good catching up and eating ourselves silly.
Around 2:30 we started heading to my parents house. When we were driving to my parents house Anna says, "I really like those people. Now why were Daddy's work friends over?!?!" This made us laugh and we tried to explain that they were family and daddy's aunts, uncles and cousins. Who knows if she ever understood.
When we got to Grama and Papa's the girls had fun playing games, making Thanksgiving crafts and coloring with Kate and Grama. We had another crazy good meal and stuffed ourselves silly once more :) We just love Thanksgiving and it's food. As for Anna and Ashley, they love thanksgiving but not the food. When we were at our house I asked them what they wanted to eat and they both said, "A hot dog please." So there you have it, a hot dog on Thanksgiving night. After dinner we wrapped the night up with watching "An Elf on the Shelf" and then headed home.
Much Love,
Jenny
