The Day After Christmas Dinner

Since we were all sick on Christmas Eve and since mommy had already bought all the food for our Christmas Eve dinner, we had out Christmas Eve on the day after Christmas instead. And it was a blast!!!! Grammy, Poppy, Grama, Papa, Gigi and the Horton's all came. It was really awesome that the Horton's could come; they always have to miss Christmas Eve because they are with Todd's side that night.

Gigi got to feed Abby a bottle for the first time, Kate got to come over and play with all our new toys and see our new dance studio in the basement (which we stayed and danced in for most of the night). We even acted out all the songs to Frozen while wearing our costumes for the adults. It was awesome! Mommy also made a pretty tasty dinner!

Christmas with the Fimmens

After our family Christmas we headed over to Grama and Papa's house to continue the celebrating with Grama, Papa, Gigi and the Hortons. Daddy stayed behind and took a nap and shower at home but joined us around 4 for dinner and adult gift time.

When we got there we ate a quick lunch and then it was stocking and present time!!!! Ashley was not too fond of her stocking at Grama's house because it was "too small" and she wanted a "big stocking like mommy." After her "brat attack" that lasted maybe 10 minutes she decided that her stocking really wasn't that bad after all :)

The girls helped Papa pass out all the gifts. They were such good elf helpers, crawling under the tree to get all the hard to reach packages!!! And then when they were all passed out, they took turns opening gifts and had a blast! Then the rest of the day they played with their new stuff, ate a good ham dinner and watched Ashley's new movie Peter Pan while the adults opened our gifts.

It was an awesome Christmas!

On our drive to Grama and Papa's house they didn't say a word. They were just a "little" too into their new Frozen books :)

Christmas Morning Play time!

After opening all our presents, we played and play and played until it was time to go to Grama and Papa's. We had so much fun with all our new stuff :)

 

Ashley has been waiting a year to do the ballet barre and could not WAIT to do it! She just kept doing all the dance moves that she has watched her sister do on the barre over and over and over!

 

It was pretty darn cute :)

Thumbs up for the mirrors and ballet barre in the basement!!!!!

And it was time to perform Frozen for mommy and Daddy!

 

Even Daddy had fun playing with his new toys!!!!

The girls were excited to preform their Frozen songs for us in full costume. They did not disappoint!

Abby just wanted to open more gifts so she could eat the presents!
