Happy Birthday Daddy!

This past Friday night we celebrated Daddy turning 37 years old!

Anna and Ashley were in charge of making the cake; the same Blueberry Cake recipes I have been making him for the past 7 years. Who would have thought 7 years ago my two daughters would be making him this cake? Crazy!

Decorations and party planning/execution was handled by Anna. She did a great job and let's just say the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree. She wrapped the gifts, hung the banner, hung streamers (with the help of cousin Kate), fixed Daddy's place setting and made an appetizer of his favorite cereal and hot tea, put a flower in the middle of the cake, headed up the present opening with a game of hot potato and had so much fun doing it! She almost cried 3 time when one of us would do something out of order or not do it the way she envisioned it. Luckily I was able to calm her down :)

Presents!!!

Shocked to see his new underwear that Anna had picked out for him... purple with yellow bananas. She made him put them on shortly after and just kept laughing at him :) It was the girls idea to get Daddy panties and they thought it was hilarious!!!
