Two weeks ago (we just uploaded the pics from Grama's phone) we went with Grama and Kate to the Berry Patch to pick blueberries. We spent almost an hour picking all the good blueberries we could find and ended up buying 4 pounds of blueberries! We can not wait to make a blueberry pie for Abby's baptism party :) They girls had a good time. They did a very good job at not picking the green blueberries and only the bluest ones. Ashley was a "wise" picker and stayed on one bush at a time (she was extremely focused on picking the blue ones) and picked all the berries she could find while the rest of us kind of went from berry bush to bush.
We also shared some blueberry lemonade, blueberry muffins and blueberry bread at the patch. It was super yummy and a great way to spend Grama's birthday morning!
And then we went to watch Anna dance- legwarmers and all :)

PS Mommy made the most wonderful homemade blueberry pie that weekend with the fresh berries. It was fantastic!!
