We had a great time. We listened to the story, loved seeing the angel and the star outside but our favorite part of all was the very end where we got to see Baby Jesus. Halfway through the walk Ashley started saying to mommy (and others close by), "Baby. Jesus." and "Jesus. Baby." It was pretty cool.
When we got to the stable where Jesus was, we also saw Mary and Joseph. We got handed a flower and then we were able to go and place the flower on Baby Jesus (mommy's favorite part). Ashley jumped right out of her seat and marched on up to Baby Jesus to give him the flower and Anna followed shortly behind. When we got back to our seats, people sitting around us gave us their flower and we got to do it again. We had the BIGGEST smile and thought it was the coolest thing. Ashley of course kept saying "Jesus, Baby!"
We can't wait for next year because this really might be one of our favorite holiday traditions!
The only picture mommy took- eating a cookie after. And told mommy that the cookie she picked was just like Jesus' star.
