Moving in Review....

Packing started well over 2 weeks ago, but we finished packing up the house last Sunday afternoon. Anna and Ashley did their fair share of helping pack boxes, take down cribs and they even packed up their favorite books and toys to bring to Grandma and Papa's house.

 

On Sunday we said good bye to our house and them moved our stuff into Grama and Papa Fimmen's house until we find out new house. We are still looking for the right "one!" Papa helped us move us stuff into the U-haul to bring to their house.

But we got pretty lucky with a few....

As Papa and Daddy loaded the U-haul, well lets me rephrase that..... as Papa and Daddy helped Anna and Ashley fill the U-haul,there was some time left to play in the front yard!

 

4 men came to load up our 16 foot pods on Monday while mommy cleaned the house. Turned out that 3 hours later, they only managed to fit our first and second floor into the two pods (and they were completely full!). So the next day we had to get one delivered for the basement. Mommy carried almost everything up from the basement to the living room on Monday afternoon and Daddy packed it all into another 16 foot pod on Tuesday after work with help from Uncle Aaron.

 

The girls handled the move fairly well. Ashley had no clue what she was doing and after spending a week in a pack n play, her crib is finally together for the first time tonight. Anna on the other hand was a bit confused and had a hard first night in the pack n play. Her crib got put up the next day and since then she has been sleeping great. She still gets confused when we mention "home" in reference to Grama and Papa's house but she loves it here.

Thanks to everyone who helped us move or helped us with the girls the last couple of weeks. We really hope this is the last time we will pack up our stuff and move away from 6529 Charlotte. Let's just hope we can close the deal soon!
