Today we went to Second Presbyterian Church (Daddy's church) for an Easter egg hunt. We were super excited to go and meet Henry, Frances, Aunt Laura and Uncle Aaron there. With baskets in hand, we were practically running out the door while singing the Easter Bunny song (which by the way Anna can almost sing all the words by herself!)

The best picture I could get of them..... |
When we got to Second, they had lots of crafts for us to do. We colored, did stickers and Anna made a cross necklace. We also got to see the Easter Bunny and get pictures taken. After that we went and listen to the story of Easter holy week. The lady telling the story was wearing blue and introduced herself as Mary, Jesus's mom. Anna perked up and asked a couple of times, "Where's Mary?!?!" I was surprised she didn't ask for Jesus again :)
Then the Easter egg hunt began! Since it was raining outside they held the hunt inside the church. And WOW did they have eggs! Each kid was allowed to take 15 eggs so the girls had a ball! Ashley walked around with Daddy and Anna walked around with mommy trying to fund all the purple ones :)
The eggs were filled with stickers, erasers, and tons of candy. Ashley ate a chocolate bar and Anna ate a chocolate bar and smarties. Then we headed downstairs for a quick and unexpected catered lunch. And then Anna was asking for her Easter Bunny Basket again :)
What a terrific day Second. It was their first Easter egg hunt ever and it was fabulous, even considering it had to be inside. Thanks!
Much Love,
Jenny
