My Yife Vest

Tonight while we were at the pool, Anna got to sit back in the baby pool and watch a ton of kids play in both the baby pool and the big kid pool. And oh did she watch!!!!! Later this evening she was literally jumping in by herself, going under water and popping back up before I would catch her. And she didn't mind it one bit. "MORE, MORE, MORE mommy," she would cry. I pointed out this little girl to Anna who had a life vest on and told her she had one at home and could jump into the water all by herself without mommy like the little girl was doing.

Not even 30 minutes after we got home (which I had to literally drag her away from 1 1/2 hours of being there tonight for a total of 3 hours today) she comes walking downstairs looking like this:

My swim face! WOW!

She had gotten in her swimming basket and put on a new dry suit and on top of that one the life vest suit (inside out and backwards even made it more hilarious!). And to top it all of, her swim cap that she have never once worn before. I aked her why she had 2 swimming suits on and she said, "Mommy, no. Me have one on. Me yife vest (life vest) too." Apparently she thought you had to wear a swimming suit under the swimming suit life vest!!! Too cute!

I asked her if she wanted to wear it to the pool tomorrow and she said yes. We will see what happens....

PS forgot the camera again..... oh darn!

Life on Woodward

I think it's safe to say that we are back to normal life here on Woodward St. Boxes are pretty much out of the first and second floor (except for the office), the garage is picked up (for the most part) and things are finding their "homes." We are starting to settle into a routine that I just love. I can't wait to get the basement unpacked so that we can start doing more art stuff during the day. We are playing outside, inside and just having a BALL!

Neighborhood Pool

It is so nice having a neighborhood pool a street away. This past week we went 6 times. We would stay anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours at a time. It is an awesome way to attempt to wear the girls out and to keep them in good moods. And a good way to meet the neighbors!

We love the baby pool. We bring a ton of toys to keep up busy! The girls just run around it and literally have the times of their life. Anna loves sitting in the ground and loves going the "wheelbarrow" around the pool on her arms and belly. She also loves to dunk her head under water... who is this child? It's GREAT!

The girls are becoming more and more comfortable with the big pool. This past weekend both girls literally jumped off the side of the pool into our arms WITH smiles on their faces. Ashley is such a daredevil and Anna feeds off her fearlessness. They are so cute to watch, especially when Anna tries to get Ashley to jump at the same time as her or do "So big's" the same time as her. Anna is getting more comfortable with the back float and will let me hold just under her head.

I don't know what we will do come labor day weekend when the pool closes for the season. Go to the gym pool????

Much Love,
Jenny

PS Will bring the camera next time we go with Daddy.

Dancing Wears me OUT!

All our dance parties are wearing me OUT!

Dance PArty

We love our dance parties in the dining and living room. We love to turn the boombox that we borrowed from Grama and Papa WAY loud and dance our pants off!!! We are really going to miss the boombox and when mommy and Daddy get furniture for that room.

Anna and Ashley

Peanut Here

Hi. It's Peanut. Just in case you were wondering about me, I like the house. My sisters play with me more here. Sometimes that is fun, other times it annoys me. I can't wait to get my fence in my backyard. I like how it's so quiet in my bed (mommy and daddy's bed).

Love,
Peanut

Someone loves ketchup

A LOT!

On cheese, cucumbers, chicken nuggets and fingers. It doesn't matter what she uses to dip in it, she's game anytime! And it covers her entire body so needless to say we don't eat it that much. But when we do, WE DO!!!

Jenny
