This poor guy had bubble butt (due to a collision with a boat) and has weights on his shell to help him stay under water. He will probably never return to sea :(
The turtle hospital cares for sick sea turtles and if/when healthy they release them back to the sea.
Some never get released into the sea and become permanent residents. We got to feed these guys :)
We hit up the local grocery store on the way home....
And chilled at our place the rest of the afternoon/evening.
We attempted to paddle boat....
But had much more success with canoeing! The girls say this was one of their favorite things we did!
Enjoyed the quiet and calm setting of our place and spent a lot of time in the pool!
Daddy grilled for us each night in the Keyes...
We LOVED it there!
