Turnip Gleaning

Saturday morning we headed into KCK to a farm to help glean turnips. These turnips were being picked up afterwards by a church who was going to distribute the turnips to those in their food bank.

It started off a bit chilly but warmed up fast. Ashley was the turnip picking champion!!!! I think she officially picked the largest one of the group.

So much fun!
