Last Thursday the cast came off!!
We went back to children's mercy hospital to have the cast removed. They sawed it off and Anna giggled the entire time during the removal. After it was done I asked her is if was scary and she said, "it tickled and sounded like a vacuum mommy."
An X-ray was taken showing that her elbow had healed. We rojoiced and then cleaned it 2 times in the sink! She said it was the best bath her arm has ever had. The doctor then explained that she has hypertension in her elbows which may have aided in the break.
Leaving the hospital she had limited movement of her elbow but within a couple days she was back to normal elbow functioning! Yay!!!! We are so excited to be back to normal!
We left with the cast as a dove Orr and a smiling kid. Then we capped the hospital visit off with a visit to Wai Wai Thai; Anna's favorite!!!
