Apple Gleaning

Two Sundays ago we headed out to Cider Hill Family Orchard to help glean apples. We gathered all the apples that had fallen on the ground that were perfectly good to eat and placed them in boxes. Our small group of 15 people gathered over 750 pounds of apples to be delivered that day to food kitchens, etc. The girls loved it; Abby took lots of breaks, Ashley was entirely into it and Anna lost her luster a couple times during the process but overall we all did awesome! What a great way to start off our morning and we will definitely do it again!
