YES Day
We always celebrate the girls birthday just as a family of 5 and this year we were planning on surprising Anna with camping. But since it was supposed to rain that evening into the next morning, we had to change our plans.
So we did a YES Day.
On a YES day, the answer to all of Anna's questions are YES! We do have the rule that she can't break rules (like ask to get her ears pierced because that is already set for when she is 8 and sleepovers and money restrictions). And boy did she have a blast on her YES day. Ashley even looked at us midday and said, "I don't want Anna's birthday to ever be over!!!!" And then Ashley realized she could have a YES Day too for her birthday and then started planning hers....
So we woke up and read the book:
She wanted me to help her with her fashion design studio gift
Then out to breakfast at First Watch...
... in her pajamas and with the Harpers and her new Unicorn Emma.
Then off to Target to do some returns and exchanges...
To Petland to she for the fish Grama and Papa got her. While there we fell in love with the cutest bunny ever.
Then to Petsmart to buy her fish since the Beta fish at Petland were practically decaying....
Then to meet Daddy, Ashley and Abby for a picnic and playground date at SRE with the neighbors....
And then bike back home from SRE....
Then off to a midday movie with her friend Emmy and our family.
Then an after movie hour long playdate with Emmy.
An early shower and nail painting!!!
Leftover Pad Thai for dinner...
Applying the top coat....
Put her fish tank together!
And ending the day with a sleepover with mommy in the hideout. (My body is still aching from seeing in there)

Anna Family Birthday Night
After Anna's friends left on her birthday, the family started arriving! We partied into the darkness with Anna's favorite Thai food carry out, present opening and a patio party.
Just love celebrating with family!
The neighbors Chase and Grant brought Anna some birthday flowers. Such sweet boys!!!!! (The other twin ran off before this picture!!!)
Never have I seen a 7 year old so excited to get a sewing machine!!!!!
