Anna's Presidential Award

During the last week of school, Anna was honored with a Presidential Award for community service. Her "Chairs for Children" project had raised enough hours to qualify for the Bronze level (26 plus hours of community service), She recieved a bronze pin, a letter from the president himself and a special ceremony recognizing her hard work and achievement. She was grinning ear to ear; pretty proud of herself for being the only Kindergartener there. And I think she even understood some of the enourmity of the recognition. When we got home she told me she wants to help more people so she can earn that award again next year :)

Thanks to Kate, Grama, Grammy and Poppy for coming to watch her. We love our fan club!!!
