Luckily we made up for the delay in the air and were only 5 minute behind the original arrival time. BUT we were at terminal A and had to get to terminal B in 20 minutes..... We ran, we ran and we ran. We took the tram through part of it.....
...... but for the most part we ran.... and we got to the gate 9 minutes prior to departure....
"Are you the Stilley Family?" the check in lady asks us.
"Ummmmm...... what do you think???" Are my thoughts. I am out of breathe, sweaty and near tears with the fear the gate has been locked.
"You guys are fine. You will get on the flight but only because we don't have a Captain. Just sit out here and when we get a Captain we will have you board with him."
I could breathe again..... I think luck was on our side that morning :)
RELIEF!
The girls were fantastic on the airplane. Coloring books, stickers and an MP3 player were their only entertainment and it worked out just great.
It was a beautiful day to fly so the girls loved looking at everything out the window. My favorite thing said that morning came from Ashley's mouth. Ashley looked at Grammy and said, "Look! There's God's swimming pool!" And below is what she saw....
Eventually we made it on board and got to Belize with a slight delay.
