Cruise- Castaway Cay
Next onto Rob and my favorite thing of the cruise: Castaway Cay, Disney's Private Island in the Bahamas.
This was our 3rd and last day on the cruise. It was the perfect day. Perfect weather. And it was Ashley's 4th birthday!
We ate breakfast at the buffet, let the girls swim in a near vacant pool for a little bit and then disembarked the ship for a beautiful 6 hours of sun, sand and beauty.
After getting a picture with Minnie Mouse, we found a nice spot on the beach, played in the sand, built a mickey head sand castle, ate ice cream and Bahama BBQ (which consisted of hamburgers) and explored the beaches. The water was a bit chilly but that didn't stop Anna and Daddy for exploring the seas! Ashley joined them a little later. As for Abby she was unsure about the sand and water but as the morning progressed so did she. She was actually walking mid shin in the water :)
If we ever go back we'd love to check out the kids zone, possibly rent bikes to explore the island and join in on the island character dance parties. But for this visit, we just wanted to enjoy the beach.
And that we did!
**All unedited pictures here folks. Yes, this place is THAT beautiful!
