Saturday night we had our first cousins sleepover. Mommy and Daddy were at a wedding, actually 2 weddings, and we got to stay the night at Aunt Anne and Uncle Todd's house. IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Here is what Kate had to say about it from her blog (since mommy wasn't there to help us remember what we did)
Tonight was SO MUCH FUN! Anna and Ashley had a sleepover at my house
for the very first time because Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rob had 2 weddings
to go to! We played and played and played and it was AWESOME!
First we read lots of books (I love reading to my cousins), then we
colored and did stickers, then we got to make homemade pizzas for dinner
(they were yummy)! After dinner we played upstairs and turned the pack
'n plays into forts and climbed in and out and in and out of them. We
threw almost every soft toy (and some not so soft one's) in the fort
with us then had mom cover us all up with blankets. That would last a
few minutes until Ashley would stand up and the blankets would fall
off....so would do it again and again. After lots of fun upstairs we
decided it was time to rest and we got to watch a few minutes of Doc McStuffin's and a few minutes of a Princess show. We had lots of fun giggling during those!
Bedtime came too fast as we were having so much fun! I tried to put
Ashley to bed while mom and Anna read a few books. Mom then came to
finish the job with Ashley and Anna and I read books in bed until mom
came and read to us.
Mommy was really impressed because all 3 of us went to bed without a peep....we were such good girls!
When we woke up, it was dark out and Kate was convinced that we never went to bed. Plus since Ashley woke Aunt Anne up at 4:58 (due to daylight savings) Kate thought her mom had never gone to bed either! So according to Kate, we officially pulled our first all nighter too!!! (hahahaha!)
We can't wait to have another cousin sleep over again!!!
