Kate, Aunt Anne, Googah and Papa joined us. Originally Grammy was supposed to come but couldn't so Papa took her place.
We started off the night with dinner at Anna's favorite place, Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop and then hit the ballet. The girls were so excited to be at the place where the adult nutcracker happens. Towards the end, Anna looks at me and even at 10 pm says, "Mommy, please don't tell me it's ending. I want it to go on more!!!" These girls LOVE a good show! When they woke up the next morning they both asked if Daddy could take them to see the show that next night....
Anna said her favorite part was the Chinese dancers in the Sugar Plum Fairy Act and Ashley's was the snow queen. And thanks to Papa they will forever have a memory of their first adult nutcracker performance every Christmas when they put up their nutcracker ornament.
The girls can't wait to go back again!
