Ashley in Junior Basketball

Today wss Ashley's first day of her month long Junior Basketball clinic. She will go a total of 4 Saturday mornings. With Ashley, you never know what you're going to get (kind of like a box of cholcoates :)) but she was in her element!

Following directions from the coach, running her little legs up, keeping up with the 5 other kids (all boys), dribbling, passing and shooting. Papa joined us thinking that adult participation would be required. She was so excited to see Papa there :) Unfortunately no adult participation was needed since the coach is that good with these kids. So we instead sat and watched our little Ashley smile and play basketball.

When leaving we asked her what she thought about it. Looking up at us in the biggest smiles she said, "I LOVED it!!!!" It probably also helped that the coach told her (and no one else I might add) that she was awesome :) Then when we asked her her favorite part of it she said, "Running."

So proud of you Ash Ash! Future basketball star like mommy :)

And then after we all went out for a donut with Papa!!!
