The night after Ashley got her new tooth put in she decided to get rid of her old tooth (with the hole in it) that she had been holding onto for over a month. She was very mixed emotions with giving the tooth fairy her tooth and really didn't understand what was happening. She cried for a bit until we reassured her that the tooth fairy is nice and she would probably get something special in exchange for her tooth. She really wanted some treats; blue lollipops to be exact. Up until we finally got her to go to bed she insisted on asking if the tooth fairy had come, when she was coming, what she looked like, where she lived, why she came and took her tooth away, where the tooth was going etc.....
I just hope we don't have to deal with the tooth fairy for another 3 years or so!

Putting it under the pillow....
Ecstatic to see what was waiting for her the next morning. A puppy dog stuffed animal, a glittery dollar and 3 lollipops (which she share with Anna!)
