BIRDS

WE. LOVE. BIRDS.

We love watching them fly. We love chasing them. We love watching them eat bird seed. We love watching them drink out of the bird bath. We love scaring off the black birdies (because they make a mess out of Grama's seed). We LOVE baby birdies. We love singing the song, "Cheep. Cheep, Why do the bird sing cheep, cheep. The birds are singing cheep, cheep, cheep because it's Spring!" And we LOVE reading the bird book.

Ashley asks to go outside to the screened in porch to see them by saying "cheep cheep" and she can spot them a mile away. Anna will just let herself outside to the screened in porch to check out the feeders. Anna loves refilling the bird feeders with seed and after she is done she says the birds say, "Thank you Anna for my seed!" And when we both see black birdies we clap their hands and say "shoo shooo!" Sometimes we even have to make a ruckus to get them to leave. It is quite a sight to see and we get SO excited.

Looks like mommy will be getting a bird feeder and some seed for Mother's Day. Hint, hint daddy :) I wonder if mommy could manage one of those. I bet with our help she could!
