Sick
Our girls have really never been sick. Besides having an occasional a cold or runny nose (they do get runny noses pretty frequently and sometimes I wonder if it's germ related or just teething) they have been really healthy (Ashley for 11 months and Anna for over 2 years). Anna had a little ear infection when she was about Ashley's age and had to take medicine for it (finding out that she was allergic to amoxicillan). That incident is the only time hse has taken any medicine at all. So really they haven't had anything too serious to worry about.
Yesterday they both woke up in their own throw up. Gross, yes. Scary for mommy, yes. But they were both smiling, no fever and ready to start the day. I called the doctor and she said not to worry about coming in, as long as they don't break a fever or throw up again, because there is a stomach bug going around. Lucky for us, it only hit us once and it didn't impact the girls much (except for the fact that Anna was grossed out at some food particles in her bed :))
So we are staying in the next couple of days to make sure we are completely germ free, then off to the gym to pick up where I left off 3 weeks ago. The dreaded tredmill, here I come!
Much Love,
Jenny
