Last Friday we met both sets of grandparents, GiGi Fimmen, the Hortons and Aaron Stilley's at Union Station for the Holiday Express. We had so much fun. We got to see a lot of trains like papa's, we got to see and sit on Santa's lap (another traumatic experience for Ashley), we were able to walk aboard a train filled with the most gaudy Christmas decor ever (Anna loved TONS of it and Ashley was completely fascinated by it all!) and then walk up to the holiday express train (my favorite part) ALL lite up on Christmas lights. Union Station was all decked out for the holidays and it was really great getting us into the holiday spirit! Afterward everyone was invited back to our place for a mexican fiesta and the kids ran WILD! Can't wait to go back again next year!
