Since Daddy was in London for a week, Mommy and us girls decided to pack our bags and head down to Dallas to visit Tom, Meghan and Matt! OH we had a blast!
We left EARLY Sunday morning at 4:45 am and got into Dallas a little after 1 pm making a record trip time for mommy with 2 kids (well the first trip time) of a little over 8 hours and 15 minutes with 2 stops! Mommy was REALLY proud of us for being so good- and extremely thankful for the dvd player that Aunt Anne and Uncle Todd let us borrow. It made feeding Ashley much more easy then mommy could imagine because Anna was in a complete daze while watching "Teee... Teee!" and "Baaaar" (The Disney Sing Along DVD and Barney). Ashley slept most of the drive and Anna slept for only an hour..... mommy wished that Anna would have slept more!
The whole week was super fun spent playing with Tom, Matt and Meghan! Ashley and Matt hung out a lot together on the floor and in their car seats. Anna ran around EVERY WHERE with Tom and Meghan. During the week we spent time outside, went on walks, played in the pool, took baths, went to paradise pond (the most AWESOME kids play place that only costs $1), read books, colored with markers, played in the upstairs and downstairs playroom (they have 2), watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, ate lots of good food, had shaved ice, visited Coopers house, had an Easter Egg hunt, skyped with Daddy and chilled.
We were exhausted in the way home and Anna slept only 45 minutes! Ashley slept pretty much the whole time! We took 3 stops and spent longer at the stops, making it back to grandma's to pick up Peanut in 8 hours and 45 minutes! We were both SO excited to be out of our car seats and were acting CRAZY at grandma's!!!
We had the best time playing with my cousins and can't wait to see them in a week!
