12 month update

Here is my 12 month update (Finally) from a ONE year old!!!

This past month I have sure been busy!!!

*Sleeping two naps a day- anywhere from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes each nap.
*Going to be around 7:30-8 each night and waking around 6:45-7 each morning (just in time to say bye bye to daddy!)
*LOVE kissing, hugging and throwing my body on stuffed animals
*I have a big girl sippy cup now and I drink out of it very well
*I love peanut (I kiss and hug him too) but I really get upset when he gets my balls or toys in his mouth and I chase him with my finger  in the air and babbling reprimands JUST ike mommy does.
*I am using a spoon better (when mommy lets me feed myself)
*I try to walk up the stairs like a big girl step by step while holding onto mommy's hands- she prefers that I crawl up. I just started holding onto the low bannister to help me take big steps on my own.

I went to my one year check up at Dr. Austins and she was very impressed with me and had no concerns! When the check up was done (before the horrible 3 shots that made me cry very hard) Dr. Austin opened the door to the hallway and I left mommy and daddy behind to go check out the office. I didn't even look back at mommy and daddy- I had so much fun walking around with Dr. Austin. Mommy and daddy couldn't believe it! But then I came back and got 3 shots- chicken pox, flu and MMR. OUCHIE-WOW WOW!

Here are my numbers:

Weight: 20 pounds 8 ounces- 50th %tile
Height: 30 inches- 75th %tile
Head Circumference: 14 3/4 inches- 50th %tile

My percentiles are consistent at every check up and they say I'm growing GREAT!!!!

I think I got everything that I forgot to mention in my last month of posting!!!

I LOVE being one!

ELMO'S DUCKS

For the past couple months I have been watching ELMO on youtube. This is my favorite video of him- ELMO'S DUCKS. I clap, laugh and smile the whole time and when it's done I sign "more!" I just love Elmo. And to make it better, now I can watch it with my very own Elmo doll!

Country Clubber / Ivy Leaguer

Ever since I was a little girl and could sit up on my own (around 4-5 months old) I have wanted to join a country club and go to an IVY league school.

Are you wondering why? Well, here's why!

I like to take shirts, blankets, pants, or anything that can fit around my neck and throw it around my shoulders and neck. I then would sit (but now I walk around) holding onto the shirt or item draped around my neck. Mommy and daddy always laugh at me!

Diaper Pail

After I get a diaper change, mommy lets me throw away my diaper..... AND.... I..... CAN.....DO..... IT.... ALL......BY.... MYSELF!!!

I grab the diaper, walk to the diaper pail, lift the lever, put the diaper in, turn around and smile at mommy, close the diaper pail using the lever and then open it again to make sure the diaper is all gone. When I see that it is all gone, I close it and run smiling to mommy!

I am such a big girl!

Chiefs game

This past Sunday, Daddy got to go to the Chiefs game with Grandpa, Poppy, Uncle Aaron, Uncle Todd and Kate's Papa Dick. Grandpa had gotten great tickets- 2 on the first row and 4 on the 15th road. And you won't believe what else he got- field passes!!! Daddy, Uncle Todd, Uncle Aaron and Poppy went on the field for about an hour before the game to watch the players warm up and in the pictures daddy took below, he didn't use a zoom. THAT is how close they were to all the players!! Daddy said they had an amazing time and to top the day off, Chiefs won like 31-10 or something like that!

My Birthday Party Night

The night of my birthday party, mommy and daddy went to an event in Independence, MO where Poppy Stilley was up for an award. They never dress up and nice WOW did they look pretty :) They had lots of fun at the event and I had lots of fun with my babysitters, Grandma and Grandpa Fimmen.

Birthday Bash Pictures FavoriteTEN!

Yes... I know... I tried for 10 and ended up with 17! That is still tons less then if I didn't try for a favorite 10 :)

I believe everyone had a great time at the party. I love getting together with family and close friends. I also love the fact that my family is growing. I love that my friends are becoming more like family.

I tried to take a moment to step back during the party to really soak in the fact that Anna is ONE. It was a birthday to me too ya know. My first year as a mom!

 

And I survived.

My Big Birthday Bash!

Yep... there I am in all my birthday GLORY!!!! Can we just say that I LOVED being princess birthday girl for the day and that I can't wait until I turn 2 for another birthday party!

Most of my family and friends came to my birthday bash and loved seeing me! I got to eat McDonalds Chicken nuggets for the first time and I think I filled up too much on those to eat my cake! I got to hit a pinata that was filled with lots of goodies for me, my cousins and my friend Cooper. I got to play some baseball, eat cake, open LOTS of gifts and play with them too! I had SO MUCH FUN!

I decided after the party that I LOVE parties and am a PARTY GIRL!

My Birth-day

Last Thursday, I was a tired girl and decided to sleep in a little bit. Well, mommy and daddy didn't like that idea and wanted daddy to see me on my birthday before he had to go to work, so THEY WOKE ME UP! But I woke up a little confused but SO excited to see both mommy and daddy smiling at me and YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT- Balloons EVERYWHERE!! I got so excited that I kept saying Ba! Ba! Ba! And pointing at all the pretty balloons. Here I am that morning in my balloon glory barely awake!

For breakfast mommy and I had chocolate chip waffles and WOW were they good! Mommy wanted me to get used to a candle so we practiced singing happy birthday. I did so good but almost reached out and touched the flame... don't worry I didn't.

And the rest of the day I was completely off (I blame mommy and daddy for waking me up!!!) So off that I didn't want to take ANY naps and only took one 1 hour nap after a long time crying...... I wanted mommy to hold me all day and all night and she did most of the time. During the day we had fun playing, eating and hanging out at home. when daddy got home we opened presents and boy did I get so much cool stuff!

That night, we met Grandma, Grandpa, Grammy, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Laura, Henry, Aunt Anne, Uncle Todd and Kate out to eat at Jalapenos! It was a BIG crowd and we had so much fun! While there I had my first kids meal- maccaroni and cheese with french fries and it was pretty yummy!

After dinner we came back to my house for cake. I wasn't really sure about the cake but once mommy helped me try the icing I decided that it was pretty yummy!!

I LOVE Birthdays!!!

I had so much fun on my first birthday that I can't wait for my second :)
