2019 JAN week 4

Finished binge watching The Marvelous Ms Maisel. So good.

Tried to start another 8 weeks. While I am doing great at maintaining my lowest weight so far while splurging too much; I am ready to knock off the last 10 pounds (SPOILER- this didn't last long...)

Anna brought home her resolutions- and it's been 1 1/2 weeks since she has changed the litter. Is that sooner than soon?!?!?!

Anna got her orthotics. She loves them.

Cars are done for the Derby.

This one. She is so cute and now I know why. Since thanksgiving she has bee acting out in school resulting in trips to the principals and phone calls home. It has been a lot for all of us to take in since we don't see this behavior at home. Sure she is feisty and short tempered like her momma but the rage she is displaying with no words and "violence" towards the room, teachers and others is a lot to bear. We have had several meetings/talks with school to set up a plan and we met this week with a child psychologist who Abby will see on a weekly basis. We are are thinking she has anxiety in large group settings and her speech delay doesn't help the processing of feeling. Glad this is all happening in Kindergarten but WOW parenting can be HARD! So hard to see her have to go through this...

The SRE Girls event (past Mother/Daughter event) was this past weekend. I was the chair of the event and spent most of the last 2 weeks getting everything in line for Saturday. The girls and I could not attend the event due to Granddaddy's funeral but we got to enjoy some fun after setting up Friday PM and Sat AM.

Granddaddy's funeral was Saturday. It was a remarkable service. Everything was just a perfect tribute to him. Funny note- we had prepped the girls about the service and thought we covered everything. 2/3 the way through the funeral service Abby turns to Rob and I and asks, "when are they going to talk about Great Grandaddy?!?!?" We have forgotten to tell her that Great Granddaddy's name was Bill. No wonder why she was confused :)

While at the funeral, I found out things I never dreamed I would learn about my husband.....

And met all sorts of distant relatives.

We finished the weekend off with the Girl Scout Derby. Anna's car won best name and most blinged out car. We lacked speed so we didn't come close to placing. But when tyhey stilley siblings had a race off at the end to see who had the fastest car, Ashley won, followed by Anna.

We wrapped the weekend up with another Pixie basketball game. We lost 15-10 to a team that we lost 38-6 last year. We are getting there... slowly but steady we are getting there!
